Australian Red Cross Victoria is one of the leading volunteer organisations engaged in the provision of emergency assistance for people affected by emergencies and disasters.

The purpose of the International Education and Resource Network is to enable elementary (primary) and secondary students to make a meaningful contribution to the health and welfare of the planet and its peoples. We want to see students go beyond simply being "pen-pals" to use telecommunications in joint student projects designed to make a difference in the world as part of the educational process.

We encourage school communities to participate by contributing questions to the author of the diaries. These will be posted automatically and questions will be answered in person, these answers will also be added to the web site to build a series of documents that provide, as far as possible, an insight in to the work of Red Cross in the area of Former Yugoslavia.
