40th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum. In 2007 Reconciliation Australia and HREOC plan activities to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum, as well as the 10th Anniversary of the release of the Bringing them home report. 27 May 2007 is the 40th anniversary of the 1967 referendum in which 90% of Australians voted to remove clauses in the Australian Constitution which discriminated against indigenous Australians. The referendum also gave the Australian Federal Government the power to make laws on behalf of indigenous Australians. [Recents Items]

State-wide Youth Engagement Forum.

• Are you interested in Community Based VCAL Programmes? This forum is for Community VCAL practitioners, managers and stakeholders who collaborate to create alternative and engaging education programs for young people who are disengaged from mainstream schooling.

• Youth Commitments. This is for LLEN members and stakeholders interested in establishing a collaborative regional approach to sharing responsibility for ensuring that all young people are supported to attain Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
